Third Act and others visit some misguided Boston banks

Misguided because these banks "fuel" the fuel fossil industry thru investments and loans. Third Act organizes seniors (owning approximately 70% of this country's wealth and voting in large numbers) to address the climate emergency thru national campaigns. Recently It organized over 100 similar actions around the country asking bank customers (among the banks, Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, and Wells Fargo) to end their accounts. Customers destroyed their bank cards; some wore the pieces as earrings; others mailed their destroyed cards to the bank CEOs with letters demanding the banks stop funding the expansion of the fossil fuel industry. Over 200 elders and others in Boston marched from Chase Bank to the Bank of America, with about 6 individuals cutting up their bankcards.
